Summary
Astara, usually going by Asta, didn't grow up with much. Very little even by peasant standards. But, so did Yuno; they did grow up together after all. And Recca, and Nash, and later will Aruru, and Hollo once they get older.
Father Orsi, and later Sister Lily, did amazing with what little they had for six children. Life growing up at the bottom of the food chain isn't ideal for anyone... but Asta wouldn't change it for anything. Not when it could mean she never met Yuno–
rival, best friend, brother–and never come across the fact that while she didn't have any mana at all... She had something just as magical despite being magic's antithesis.Anti Magic. It was a struggle in itself growing up with the non magic... but she's on par with Yuno now. She will become the Wizard Queen, and yes. Wizard. Queen. That was the whole point of the title after all!
And with Yuno, come hell–literally–or high water–figuratively–she will make this a world where her family–old and new–will never have to suffer again. If only she can get it through her thick skull that everyone she loves wishes that for her too.

The smell of Leo’s blood being the first thing Asta thinks about when he wakes up, when he goes to sleep… That smell is the first thing he notices whenever Leo is around. It was unlike any other blood he had ever smelled… He could practically hear Leo’s heart beating in his chest… Leopold was so alive… So kind and understanding, it’s not surprising why many people like him so much. He’s like a ray of sunshine ironically enough. If Asta didn’t have his daylight ring, he’s sure he’d burn in Leo’s presence.
Something just made Asta wanna sink his teeth into his flesh. His desire for Leo’s blood scares him. It scares him in a way he hasn’t felt in a long time. He’d never want to harm Leo in any way. He has the purest heart of anyone he’s ever met. Asta doesn’t want to harm anyone. Never again.
On his way home, he felt the eerie feeling of being watched… but the sense was familiar enough to give him a sense of comfort as well.
Leopold made it home safely that night.

There was one more mission Asta and Noelle had to go on, while they waited to go to the Heart Kingdom to train. A simple dungeon mission, nothing too serious.
Even Yuno, Mimosa, and Klaus would be there. They had more than enough manpower and experience, and with the mission being as easy as it is, Yami let them go alone.
Too bad it became an (mis)adventure of war crimes, sabotage, an actual death experience (and revival), three dungeon delvings, an indestructible golem, the task of exploding a Diamond Kingdom laboratory (which was one of the war crimes), human experimentation, accidentally stumbling into the Spade Kingdom, and a five day dead sprint from said enemy kingdom, through three Grand Mana Zones, a dungeon (one of the three they delved into), three different bandit groups, and back into Clover Kingdom... all of this not in that exact order.
Boy oh boy, was it a fucking shit show. But, let's start at the beginning, shall we?

Or, the story where I personally think Mimosa, Klaus, and Yuno are honorary Bulls and so I have named their squad (with Asta and Noelle) the Golden Bulls and this idea came out of whatever the fuck I was thinking. Hope you enjoy!
