The moment burst like a glass bubble, and before he could even process what was happening, he was in the bathroom, palms on cool tile, vomiting petals into the sink. That was the first time he threw flowers up.

“Do you have trouble sleeping, hyung?” he asked, worry seeping into his tone.
Chan startled, shocked to see he had forgotten all about the bottle of sleeping pills sitting right in the middle of his living room. “Ah— yeah, sometimes,” he replied, handing one of the mugs to the younger man who accepted it gratefully, wrapping his fingers around the ceramic to warm them up after having been outside all afternoon.
“Be careful with those, hyung,” he said, taking a sip of his hot chocolate. “I heard it’s really easy to overdose with them.”
Guilt welled in his stomach, settling like a rock. “I will, Jisung-ah,” he lied. “Hyung promises.”
OR
Chan is ready to end it all when he— quite literally— bumps into a frantic Jisung who gives him a reason to stick around a bit longer. Before he knows it, Chan has a whole group of people he would die for instead of in spite of.

“You promised me.” The words echoed in the empty bathroom, or so it seemed for Hyunjin.
Something flickered across Yugyeom’s eyes, gone too fast for Hyunjin to put a name to it. His eyes hardened again all too quickly. Mark stepped between him and Yugyeom, keeping a hand on him to keep him in place.
“Jinnie, please, don’t make this harder than it has to be.”
“Then don’t go! You promised me you wouldn’t do this again!”
“Promises mean nothing when your life’s in danger.” “Yugyeom-“
“No! They just mean nothing to you! They never fucking do.” “Hyunjin-“ Mark tried to intervene again, but Yugyeom cut in before he could continue.
“You’re still getting on that jet.”
“I am not going anywhere without you.” He gritted out, his voice coming out shaky, unlike the strong tone he was hoping for.
“Well then, good thing the choice is not yours.”
OR, In which Hyunjin's world turns upside down in a matter of a few weeks, but he meets some people along the way that bring him back to the ground, figuratively.(and literally)

Summary
After an exhausting week Mark feels drained. As the oldest, it's his responsibility to take care of the younger members and help Jaebum shoulder his burden as leader, all whilst keeping everyone in check and making sure no one overworked themselves.
But what about him? Who took care of him and made sure that he didn't overwork himself? The managers thought he was responsible enough to take care of himself. Jaebum had too much to do with the younger ones and relied on Mark to be his safe haven. Jackson was almost always a playful puppy and more often than not away for his individual schedule. Youngjae and Jinyoung usually helped with the laundry and cooking, but they too had been exhausted as of lately. Bambam and Yugyeom were the maknaes, he would never expect them to look out for the older members. They were still young and should be allowed to enjoy their childhood and be pampered.
They all had someone to take care of them, to rely on.
Usually Mark would call his parents but that didn't alway work out.
So Mark did what he always did in these situations: Figure out what it was that he needed and either make a plan on how to get that or try to push through.
