Summary
A loud knock rattles the metal of his front door. Yoshiki yelps, then covers his mouth with his hands, but his hands are covered in Hikaru's blood.
“I know you're in there,” the loan shark shouts. “Open up. NOW!”
The banging won't stop. It feels like it's pounding directly against his skull. Yoshiki puts his forehead to Hikaru's, hoping and praying for him to wake up, for the men outside to leave.
Just don't answer the door. They can't get in if you don't—
There's a sickening crunch of metal and the familiar sound of his shitty front door squeaking open. Yoshiki shoots up, staring horrified at the figure in the doorway, who simply says ‘oh’ at the sight of him.
Yoshiki left Hikaru behind for a reason, but his life still falls apart, and Hikaru still manages to find him. Three years later, Yoshiki is now less inclined to leave him.
OR: Yoshiki becomes a college dropout, and Hikaru gets tangled up in organized crime. -
