Summary
Petey can feel his heart thumping in his chest as he studies the words in front of him. “What the fuck is this?”
“A new apology,” Milchick answers. “Just for you. This one might be more meaningful to you.”
Petey scans the lines again, feeling slightly sick. Just when he thought things here couldn’t get more fucked up, Lumon pulls this shit out of the bag. He almost wants to protest; he wants to refuse to read it. But Milchick has read his mind.
“I could bring Mark S in here instead,” Milchick says softly, as if he’s offering a genuine helpful solution to Petey’s discomfort.
Petey swallows, clenching his hands before laying them flat on the table again. “No. No, I’ll read it.”
Milchick nods with approval. “In your own time then. Nice and loud, please.”
Petey takes a deep breath. He can do this. He can do this to keep Mark safe. He can do this just to tread water until he can get the fuck out of here.
His eyes are burning as he reads the first line.
“Forgive me,” Petey begins, his voice thick. “For I feel nothing for Mark S.”

Summary
Petey had made a lot of inventions. A ridiculous amount in fact. Plans and machines just naturally poured out his brain the way his son's art poured over every free scrap of paper in the house. Some were genius. Some were bad. Some were just... disastrous and never saw the light of day after testing. But Petey kept every single one of them. At least until his deadbeat father showed up to steal all of his potentially very dangerous inventions. A fact that he doesn't bother reporting to the police.
It isn't until his inventions start hitting the streets of the city that he and Dogman realize the danger coming for them. And the worst one comes in the form of a particular ray gun with a heart on it.
(Combines some movie and comic canon but takes place post-movie.)

Summary
Ex-Military soldier Greg, now “Dog Man”, has been trying to clean up the streets of Ohkay City ever since he was “relieved” from duty, having been turned into a hybrid combining his dog head and his handler-Knight’s-body while overseas. While dropping off a criminal he injured near the only hospital farthest from the police precinct, he’s approached by a small orange tabby kitten who won’t leave him be.
Petey is a surgeon at one of the hospitals of Ohkay City, working his hardest to support himself and his son. So what’s one cat to do when his son goes missing and his coworkers tell him a monster took him?!
A little white lie turns half a city upside down but brings a torn hybrid and an overworked father together in very unlikely of ways.
Too bad the people from Dogman’s past won’t allow him to finally live in peace.

Summary
Dog Man’s a good cop. He keeps the city safe and is always there for others when he’s needed. He’s a good boy, truly, but everyone needs to release steam now and again. And for Dog Man, that’s committing petty crimes and misdemeanors. No one gets hurt, and if anything, it makes him a better cop! It’s a win-win!
But when a stressful bout of weeks hits him and his normal adventures don’t cut it, he decides to try something a little more dangerous. He just needs to relieve this stress, and as long as no one gets hurt, everything will be ok! Yeah, it totally won’t spiral out of control. And it absolutely will not lead to him and Petey crossing paths in that context. Nope: no way that will happen.
AKA: Dog Man blows off steam with petty crime and crosses into Petey’s crime path. It totally won’t lead to anything between them.
