After the fight in the bathrooms, the games take a different turn and along the way, Namgyu and Thanos have a strong argument. Thanos decides not to seek Namgyu again, thinking that money and fame could make him forget, but at night, without help from his pills, he realizes how terrifying and dangerous the games were, and nightmares start to haunt him. He has no one to talk to or understand him more than Namgyu. After months of absence, he returns to the Pentagon club looking for something as simple as knowing if Namgyu can sleep at night.
Or, where Namgyu and Thanos survive the games, fight, both have post-traumatic stress and decide to start talking again to calm their nightmares.

Daeho had no clue whether to be relieved or terrified at the somewhat safe return of Gihun and Jungbae. On the one hand, they were like the fathers he wished his had been, and would’ve been devastated at their demise because of him. The problem occurred the second Yongsik opened his mouth. Daeho felt the his heart drop and the room suddenly felt tighter.
God fucking damnit.
Aka: what if the fourth game hadnt been hide and seek, but chess as predicted. What will happen if Daeho has to step out the shell he built to protect his friends? How does Namgyu tie into this?
Jungbae is still alive, and they blame Daheo for the death of Youngil mainly.

He didn’t remember falling asleep. Opening his eyes to a room of creamy colors and dim lights, he found himself alone sitting on a couch, characters on the wall in front of him displaying a warm promise.“Welcome! Everything is fine.”
Gi-hun dies and wakes up in the Good Place. He isn't alone. He shares the afterlife with some familiar faces, and an unfamiliar one.
