Ranboo has spent the past eleven years of their life moving from home to home. Sam is insistent that this home will be the one they stay in. They’ve finally come full circle, back to their first home after all these years. But something about this town makes Sam tight-lipped and tense. One word he struggles to spit out, even in casual conversation.
Magic.
Sam says all the Magic’s gone now, but Ranboo’s sure that’s not true. They can feel it in every breath they take. And maybe, with the help of a few new friends, they can find where the magic’s been hiding. They can finally prove they’re not a total failure, finally get rid of that heartbreak behind Sam’s eyes. And while they’re at it, maybe they can find a place they can call home.

From what brief rumors floated around the SMP about Dream communicating to L’manburg on behalf of Tommy, and the few things Tommy did open up about regarding that monster of a man, the little comments and jokes and panics—and the twisted things Dream would tell Sam about if he got in the mood, about what he did to that child in that exile…

Im sure you’ve heard this story before, so let me sum it up for you…
Ranboo can’t remember his parents and has been in the system almost his whole life. he’s pretty much resorted to aging out, even if he’s only 16 right now. He’s been in his fair share of bad households before, but the one he’s in right now is… less than ideal…
When he gets an emergency transfer to the Minecraft’s he doesn’t think it’ll be any different from his other foster homes. But maybe, he can start to call it home.
(There are hybrids but it’s a modern fic)

He was a threat, but he couldn’t hurt anyone when he was locked up. One day, Ranboo meets the person Dream had talked about, the chaotic monster that wreaks havoc on the SMP. Tubbo Underscore. After spending time with the prisoner more dangerous than him, Ranboo begins to wonder. Is he really the problem, is he really dangerous?

Ranboo is trapped by dream unknowing to the horror they experience, but luckily Sam is there by their side to help him though it, and maybe one day let them out. And george is there kinda. At the same time a boy and his step dad run for their lives.
So i started writing this over three years ago. So, my writing has changed and wont be very consistent through this work. I am also still new to writing, despite the three year gap.

What if Tubbo had exiled Ranboo as well as Tommy?
Dream needs a better place to put his two new toys than just an island off in the middle of nowhere- after all one is an enderman hybrid and while he says he can't teleport, its better to be sure about these kinds of things you know? And isn't it handy he has this giant prison, almost completely finished... he just needs to make sure the builder can't go blowing the whistle either...
updates will be sporadic, chapter titles will be entirely in Hozier lyrics. I do go back to make edits and changes as they occur to me.
