Dream is the first prisoner in Pandora's Vault. He never gets broken out.
Nearly a millennia later, the Warden of Pandora's Vault Prison has to venture into the cell of The First to do a repair job on some wiring. He has his doubts that the stories of the immortal prisoner are true, but his predecessors had always warned him not to open the main cell, or The First would kill them all and take over the world.
What the Warden finds when he finally enters the cell is NOT what he was expecting.
Or: Immortal Dream gets left to rot in pandora for nearly a thousand years, and when the descendants of the SMP have to open his cell, they decide the shriveled husk of a man they find doesn't deserve to spend another millennia locked up to suffer.

“You don’t need to impress anyone,” Grumps said as the senior caught up to them. He places a hand on Joey’s shoulder, a bit out of breath but looking as kind as Joey remembers the older to be. “You’re a good kid with a big heart and would be the world’s most amazing older sibling for those boys.” Suddenly, Grumps throws an arm around Joey’s shoulder, almost sending them both tumbling down the hill. “And if they don’t see that then I guess it never meant to be.”
Porkums snorts. “You stole that from King Eret. We all heard the broadcast about that day.”
Grumps just glares at the Piglin before the easy-going smile slips back onto his face. “Oh, then you don’t quote Technoblade three times a day then. Especially when someone steals something from you?” The human let Joey go just as they came up to the main area of the castle. “Even going as far as to call people raccoons?”
The Piglin crosses his arms while settling into a glare. “Yeah, yeah we all meme the Essempi to the Nether and back. None of us are special.”

“Get over yourself, Francis. You cheated and broke the rules.” Rash has his arms cross, a creepiness settles in the bones of the people around. Just out of sight, just out of mind. A few people froze before continuing on their walk. “And don’t bother calling for XD. The guy would agree with us over you any day.”
Francis flip Rash off before crossing his arms and sliding a bit in his seat.
