Summary
It's been 10 years since Iris Lavellan dissolved the Inquisition, and she now lives as Dorian's roommate in Tevinter, having built a life for herself that brings her joy. When Dorian's team stops Solas from completing his ritual, Lavellan finds him near-death and rushes to save the man nobody else wants saved. In the Fade she speaks to him about life and their doomed love as they consider where to go from here, and how to fix what Solas broke.

Summary
“Common sense dictates one does not simply walk through mysterious portals, particularly active ones in a hostile environment,” Solas says, his condemnation cutting through Petra.
“Planning doesn’t tend to be our strong suit,” Petra says.
“That much was clear.”
Astarion and Petra come upon a portal while looting a vampire den and accidentally wind up in Thedas, where they’re at the mercy of Iris Lavellan, Dorian Pavus and Solas in order to make it back home.
Unfortunately, it turns out Solas and Iris are kind of a pain to deal with. Worse: the feeling is mutual.

Summary
In what little spare time Solas has between work on his ritual to bring down the veil, he searches the Fade for memories of Iris as an infant, looking for the flowers that served as her namesake, so he can transplant them in the sanctuary he's building for her, in the hopes that she can survive what comes.
