But my favorite non-Gotham hero is Wonder Woman — she could totally lift a car, no joke!

She knew she was a liability and having her close was always going to be a threat, but if they were both too stubborn to let it end like this, then they were going to go out with a bang. She hoped to all the gods in the world that this plan worked, as her world would end otherwise, but she knew their bonds had grown strong enough to deny the fate everyone spoke so fondly of.
They could write their own stories, they didn’t need destiny to tell them what they were going to do. Robin wasn’t going to kill Chrom in that battle and her husband was definitely not going to fall.
She knew exactly what could pin Validar into a wall and her plan was already in motion.
After all, nobody messed with her family.

TLDR: Robin is scared about killing Chrom, but both of them are too stubborn to let it happen. -

Hood grunts. He wraps the fabric quickly, tying off the end so closely to an eyebolt on the stage floor that Tim can’t, quite, fully straighten like this. With the band wrapped from his wrists to the end of his fingers, he also won’t be able to pick at the knot with his hands. That’s fine. His plan requires him to be alone with the alpha. He’ll pick his time.
“Yeah, that’s good,” Hood praises firmly. Tim wishes he didn’t react to it, that he didn’t have a weakness for praise, but a small part of him perks up from the focused anxiety to preen at the comment. I’m pathetic. Hood only rubs another hand over Tim’s hair and turns back to Jack with a final, “Good boy, baby bird. I’ll be back to collect you in a minute.”

He can’t afford to fall apart right now. Red Hood knows he’s Robin. A crimelord-near-Rogue with a vendetta against Batman that the Bat himself is more secretive about than normal knows that Tim Drake is Robin.

Batman grits his teeth, ready to be confronted with everyone he failed to save, to rehash those tired arguments about even murderers deserving a fair trial, but it isn't the victims that are thrown in his face.
At least, not Joker's victims.
"What is this?"
"You mean Batman doesn't recognize the people he's killed?"Red Hood, Joker, and Batman meet in a crumbling building. The confrontation goes a bit differently than in canon.
