Summary
Russell Ziskey accidentally runs into a woman he's heard about for years but has never met until now, and there's an instant attraction between them. However, John Winger is about to drag Russell off to boot camp with him, which means he and his would-be girlfriend are over before they even really start. That one week together, though, makes a lasting impact on both of them. But with the events of boot camp and Russell and John's post-graduation adventure in Italy, things are strained between Russell and the woman thanks to his fling with MP Louise. Even so, Russell isn't about to give up on the woman, especially not when he realizes she's one of the best things that's ever happened to him.
