You may not even realize it, but you’ve been teaching Peter things—things dads teach their kids. It’s in the way you look after him, the way you push him to be better, but also the way you make sure he knows you’re always there for him.”

    Tony opens his mouth to protest, but Pepper holds up a hand, stopping him.

    “God, you two are so alike at times I don't know if I should be worried,” she muses.

    After May dies, Tony becomes Peter’s legal guardian. He teaches him the basic life skills his late family never had enough time to. Without realizing it.
