Summary
The revolution Flash has set off on Mongo faces perilous days. Seeking mercenaries to strengthen the rebel position and perhaps turn the tide of war, Flash engages in diplomacy. Reaching out to satrap Ra-Hesh, iii of neutral far northern Grand Thule, Flash asks the leader to enlist his mercenaries on the side of freedom.
The satrap decides that the snow gods will decide his country's fate. Flash and a rival general are sent to the far north in quest of he near mythical ice beast. Ostensibly to protect Dale from his own randiness and reputation the satrap had Dale shrunk to one feet tall. She remains as a hostage while Flash faces almost certain death. Tp Dale's consternation the satrap is devilishly handsome and, away from Flash, she finds her heart straying as all the erotic implications of being tiny dawn on her!- Language:
