Summary
First raped by a god, then cursed by a goddess, Medusa swore that she would never know love again. Cursed to turn anyone to stone who dares to stare into her eyes, she hides away in the mossy caves of Sarpedon, never to be seen by mortals.
But one day, a disheveled-looking woman showed up on the island. On an island with two other Gorgons, Medusa wonders how this young, mortal woman survived. First being washed up on the island, and then managing to navigate the island without being turned to stone.
Her name was Hariclea, and it turned out that she was blind. She was born that way. Typically, visually stunted children were cast into the sea. But she had gifts. From the age of one, she was able to smell storms, hear vibrations in the earth to sense if the gods were unhappy, and test the quality of soil to determine if it was good for growing crops. Her village thrived because of her senses. Her most recent voyage was on a boat with a group of soldiers, working to build civilization on islands near Greece. They needed her ability to sense storms and find food. But when their ship sprung a leak, they casted her overboard, saying that she was no longer of use to them. -

Summary
I assume that you are aware of Medusa, one the most famous Greek Mythology tales you’ve heard of. Throughout the centuries there are many depictions of her, from her being a monster who could turn you into stone by a petrifying stare to a victimized woman in society, burdened by the lust and violence of man. I come to give my own rewrite of the story, exploring both nuances to the multiple faces of the young Gorgon while branching out the tale of her life more.
This version will grant life to new characters (original characters) and explore possible personalities of Medusa's loved ones- her elder sisters, Euryale and Stheno, and parents. While trying to unpack her involvement with the gods and goddesses such as Athena and Poseidon. All until the swipe of Perseus' sword to her nape.

I had got distracted by the candlelight reflection off the man’s skin, like watching sunlight bounce off a copper kettle. I looked up to find them both smirking at me. ‘I- I don’t know!’ I could feel my snakes coil and hiss. ‘Just - just shut up!’
‘Pretty sure we didn’t say anything,’ Euryale mutters, but she turns back to the man. ‘Shit, I think he’s coming to. Pass me that glass of water, and you two get out, just in case he’s up to something.’

The Greek Gods and Goddesses are gods only in name, full of power but void of true mortals, and it isn’t to the surprise of Medusa if the same is true for Saber and whatever land she is from.
One woman of the sword condemned her to a punishment meant for her rapist.
She does not wish to see what another woman of the sword has to offer as a means of justice.
