“Sounds like a good day at work,” Shiro calls from the direction of the kitchen.
Keith makes a rude noise in reply.In which Keith is a fairy godmother who yearns for a happy ending of his own, and Shiro is his friend, former mentor, and roommate. Also the love of his life, although he hasn't filled Shiro in on that part yet.

Summary
Garez, the (former) Lieutenant Magistrate of Public Games and Imperial Entertainment-or, the Galra who controlled the Arena and its horrors-has had enough of living a life of post-imperial ignominy and shame. One quintant, he decided he was going to restore the Galra Empire-and its emperor, Zarkon-to its full, rightful glory. To this end, he has spent decaphoebs working in secret on a machine that will send him to a time before Voltron was reformed. There, he and his most trusted troops will kill the Black Paladin as a boy, and with his death erase the present and replace it with a timeline where Zarkon won forever-with no one the wiser to stop him.
His plan is perfect. There's just one problem.
He chose the wrong Black Paladin to target, and boy is everyone in for a horrible surprise when Garez finds out who else he brought back in time with him.

After that year in space, Shiro's plagued with nightmares to the point he barely sleeps. Keith's the one to offer an olive branch.
Together, maybe they can help each other process.

The more it happens, the more he realises: the bayard has given him Black’s teleportation abilities. It’s like travelling with the wolf, but Shiro controls where he goes.
It’s exhilarating.
Finally getting to use the black Bayard, Shiro finds it gives him the ability to teleport. It's the most fun he's had in a long time.
And then it starts bringing him to Keith.

Summary
My Sheithlentines 2021 gift for @creative_vexes! This was a really fun prompt - I did yoink quite a bit of my premise from a Reddit Relationships post (read it here: https://rareddit.com/r/relationship_advice/comments/kz96wk/something_weird_happened_between_my_friend_and_i/), but it was fun to work it into the idea of Keith being cared for by Shiro and being Spider-Man. The Avengers make a cameo in the group chat. The universe is LOOSELY MCU, but everyone's alive and well and living in Stark Tower.
This is unbetaed and as such, any mistakes are my own. Constructive pointing out of typos and the like is welcome in the comments, as is any praise and love, of course. :)

“Shiro.”
“Shiro,” Red says, turning the name over in his mouth. “Cute. Do all your friends call you that?”
“You gonna be my friend, Red?” Shiro asks, stepping closer.
“Best friends,” he agrees. “And all my best friends call me Keith.”
