As he watches the loader droid carry his former master away from the skirmish, the flames that burn around him and within himself intensify in its power and ferocity.
He can stop them easily. One simple use of the force and the flames would be gone, and Kenobi would be his.
He was so pathetic, so weak, so disconnected from the force. A shadow of his former self. This was the Jedi Master who bested him on the volcanic world of Mustafar so many years ago? This was the man who is the sole reason why he is trapped in this mechanical shell for all eternity?
“What have you become?”
He sounded so surprised when he asked that. Did he not know? Did he really not know after all this time? He has the audacity to ask him that after he was the reason why he’s like this?
“I am what you made me.”
The flames continue to burn. The loading droid continues dragging Kenobi away. It would be so easy.
Fire is a constant in the Sith Lord’s life. He’s known this for a long time.
