Shadow slowly turned his head, face screwed up in a deadpan grimace. After a pregnant pause, Shadow asked, "what?"
Sonic's smile grew brighter- impossible at such an hour, but he digressed- and replied with a chipper tone, "I said, can I hold it?" He even had the nerve to look proud of himself for such a question. Shadow's not sure if he was impressed or disgusted.
"...No?"
"Ugh, you're no fun!" Sonic threw his hands up in defeat.
