Summary
In the effort of honesty, Akari admitted that she hated the Crimson Mirelands at times. The pokemon were some of the more aggressive in the region, her shoes were always getting stuck in the muck, and the weather absolutely sucked. One of the only positives was the Diamond Clan's settlement—therefore Adaman, when he wasn't doing clan leader things across Hisui—could be found there. Assuming, of course, they survived the occasional Space-Time Distortion bearing down on them.

Summary
Those who saw Airi fall from the rift above Mount Coronet described the sight as not unlike a meteor. By the time she landed, the only thing they could remember was falling. Falling, and an odd dream, wherein Arceus gave them their name and their task: seek out all pokémon. With no memories of where she came from, Airi is resigned to finding a new home in Hisui while they complete her task.

Introduction to the science of "Event Horizon"
This is a fictional research paper that serves as an introduction to the magic and science of the medieval science fantasy world I am creating, which will be posted as a separate work once everything is worked out. This work may have terminology that is not easily understood, and will contain discussion about theoretical physics and its applications. Knowledge of physics recommended for ease of comprehension, and the phonetics have been added to the terminology for my story so you know how to pronounce it.
