She frowns at her phone for a good minute. What’s going on? This is the same text Omen sent her yesterday. Same time, she remembers now. Only yesterday she was terrified and creeping around in her own house, wondering if Skulduggery would turn up to kill her, and today everything’s different, it’s okay…It’s just her stupid phone, resent her the text, some blip, something, anything-
She presses on Skulduggery’s name. It brings up their last call. The day she was in the hospital wing, after he’d shot her. She closes her eyes. Opens them. Presses on the messages button. It’s blank. No texts: her invitation asking him round last night, his agreement - gone.
And then she checks the date at the top of the phone.
8th February.*
Or, Valkyrie gets stuck in a time-loop of the day Skulduggery almost shoots her in Coldheart.

If she learns to love again what will become of those around her when everything that loves her back is doomed to die. All people see is the thorns on the stem for as long as she's lived.

Summary
A beginning-to-end rewrite of Skulduggery Pleasant: Resurrection. Recycling many of the same characters, but executed differently.
This work is made to attempt to explore avenues of Skulduggery Pleasant that fans from the subreddit often said they'd have liked to see in phase 2, such as putting more focus on the world-building and certain characters who may not have gotten a chance to shine in the original work. Big thanks to CatTheGrimReaper for acting as my muse and letting me bounce ideas off them while I wrote.

No, the main problem is who else Temper has hired; Dexter Vex, Dead Man and Leticia's ex.

After the suspicious murders of Dexter Vex and Saracen Rue rock Valkyrie and Skulduggery's case, they venture out to find truth amidst the confusion.
A strange messenger from the Sanctuary ticks them and China off to the whereabouts of the long-dead Mr Bliss.
Now, with Bliss's information of his survival, Skulduggery is second-guessing whether his Dead Men comrades are actually dead - or whether they've been hidden over time.
Through a test of strength, self-control and a mysterious murderer laying them a path, Valkyrie and Skulduggery follow along to try and find the Dead Men.
