“Sometimes, tragedy makes for a brilliant story. But joy and happiness can make one, too.”
“We already got our tragedy.”
“Now, it's your chance to give yourself and the world a romantic story.”
“Saparata, I wish you the very best of luck. Be selfish, for once. You deserve it.”
And as quick and silent as the words came, so they went. Heard only by the ears of someone who should've been long dead.
Or, Saparata goes back to the beginning, and gets his second chance.

Fluixon is getting married. To Saps. Thomas is happy for him, he really is, but his feelings for him are making that somewhat difficult.
It doesn’t help that he’s also the best man, and that they end up drunk and alone together at the bachelor party.

This was not the afterlife.
Something was very wrong here, Fluixon was very wrong here.

Fluixon travels back in time in a body he's not entirely sure is his. Does he right his wrongs and let himself hold Saparatas hand? Or does he fall back into that paranoia spiral and do what he thinks is best for Island 2. For Pandora.

"Guys shut up, no, seriously, no metagaming," Saps mumbled, pacing around in the vacation home. Which they were supposed to have placed a trap in a day ago, if Saparata hadn't collapsed and fragmented half his memories seconds before he left.
Saparata was currently on house arrest because he attempted to throw himself off the hill to see if he could die.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Fluixon snapped, feeling the situation slowly slip from his fingers and die a messy, pointless, Saparata-induced death. "Who are you even talking to?!"
Or: 2.7 Saparata ends up in his 2.5 counterpart's body at a very crucial moment in the plot.

"...you're right." The words sound like they're forced out from behind gritted teeth, tinged with a bitterness Saps has never had before.
Flux tilts his head, just so he can make Saparata wait. He looks like he wants to scream, and Flux wonders how he didn't see this. If he's been hiding this whole time, or if he's lying to get Fluixon's trust. How curious.
But if Saps isn't truthful, then he's infallibly noble, optimistic, trustworthy.
Or: Saparata joins the Conspiracy. It doesn't go well for anyone, really.

That's why Grian is on the ledge, and not celebrating his win.
He steps off, expecting nothing, and accepting that nothing because grief would be worse.
Instead, snow wets his shoes, and the area around him was cold.
Is that guy trying to kill himself too?

Grian jumps of the edge at the end of 3rd life, expecting it just to be that...
Then is pushed into the snow biome.... where Saparata built his tower and tried to kill himself.
