Summary
The heat was unbearable, sweat ran down Zuko's face and under his mask. His scar hurt, as it always did when he was near fire.
Suddenly, a scream rang out. High-pitched, panicked, desperate. A life, somewhere in there, in danger.
Zuko turned his head. "There's someone else in there! We have to do something!" he shouted over the roar of the flames.
His colleague Jet grabbed him by the arm. "Zuko, it's too late! We can't go back in there—the smoke will kill us!".
"How can you say that?!" he snapped angry.
Jet pointed at the inferno, his eyes wide: "Look at the fire! If you go in there, you'll never come out!".
Zuko breathed heavily but his gaze was determined. "Then so be it. I'm going."
"Zuko, NO!" several voices shouted at once as he started to run.
The flames lashed out at him like a living monster. The heat pressed against his ski. This is madness. But there's someone in there. And if he gives up now, they'll die.

Summary
Despite what Zuko's father used to say, he was the lucky one in the family, wasn't he? The one his dad didn't actually care about. Besides, he has enough problems with making sure his sister gets better, keeping his uncle's tea shop in the black, and his off-again, on-again girlfriend Mai showing up at his apartment in the middle of the night after disappearing for months on end to worry about himself. But when Azula gets a new therapist, one that he finds himself having decidedly inappropriate thoughts about, Zuko is about to realize that he has yet another problem that he doesn't have time to deal with.

Sokka is in his third year of college and feeling lonely when he meets Zuko, a barista at the tea shop his sister has been bugging Sokka to come to. Zuko is a barista by day and the city of Ba Sing Se’s one and only vigilante, the Blue Spirit, by night. Angry at the world and terrible at making friends, he has no idea what to make of the bright eyed comedian who wanders into his life.
Mai is best friend to two siblings who hate each other and does not get paid enough (she doesn’t get paid at all) for the emotional labor she does for the two idiots she most cares for.
Azula’s dreams are filled with fire.
Tea gets consumed, romance ensues, and everyone is traumatized!

Iroh has finally built a life for himself that he loves. He manages his tea shop, making friends with the other business owners on the block, fixing a creative lunch special each day, and doing his best to keep an eye on his niece and nephew.
Piandao moves his karate studio into the empty storefront across the street from The Jasmine Dragon, and finds himself inexplicably drawn to the tea shop, with its homelike atmosphere and pride flags on display in the windows. And to it’s jovial proprietor, suspecting that they have far more in common than meets the eye.
