Five should be happy. The world was living past April 1st 2019, The Handler was dead and The Commission was leaving them alone.
Diego had Patch back, Luther was working with NASA, putting his moon research to good use, Allison's daughter was alive and in her custody, Viktor was going up in the world of music and Klaus was one week clean.
Life was going good and Five knows that waiting for the other shoe to drop was worthless because it wasn't going to.
Everything was fine.
However, there was still a gaping hole in the Academy, a hole which Ben once filled. A void room, frozen over in time. It was unused, eerie, haunted by what was and what should be.
Ben was still dead. And that? That felt so wrong.
