Summary
After Grandpa Ralph passes away, Chase and Myra move to an apartment on the other side of town. Chase is determined to make it work for the both of them while still achieving his lifelong dream of rising to the top of the global charts.
But adult life and family are both more complicated than he thought, and between Myra’s chronic condition left over from chemo and their new financial situation, Chase is struggling to keep everything afloat.
It doesn’t help that their patio has a serious infestation of jerkish mall goths, or that the new apartment appears to be haunted by an increasingly terrifying presence.
Chase just wants one corner of the world where he and his mom can be happy. Is that too much to ask?
