Summary
A retelling of Dragon Age: Origins based on my canon Warden. Major decisions in the game will be recognizable, but conversations, quest beats and details will be different to make the story more hers.
Lady Hela Aeducan just lost everything: her home, her family, her love, and her station. Now she finds herself a soldier in a war that cannot be won, and her life is about to be turned upside down a second time.
All that Hela wants is to return to Orzammar and reclaim what she has lost… and she’s willing to get her hands a bit dirty to do it. Sure, she’s now obligated to serve a loosely organized group of soldiers she knows nearly nothing about, her friends are a rather strange bunch, and the only other Warden she knows is aggravatingly attractive. But maybe, just maybe, if she can somehow pull off saving the world, she can get it all back.

我对Veilguard极其失望。在一言难尽的失望原因之中，Veilguard的lore表现水平和codex写作方向给我带来的失望夹杂着最多的滑稽色彩。
如果说前几作里铺垫好的北塞各国风貌初始设定、续作主干情节和矛盾走向、以及关键角色刻画延续性的彻底丧失是我锥心痛恨的主要来源，而Veilguard对北塞各国看似全覆盖实则打卡敷衍的刻画则令我发笑。故事聚焦在了北塞达斯，但对北塞达斯各国的政治、地理、民情、社会面貌等等方面的具体介绍却乏善可陈——就拿塔文特举例子吧。谁敢相信呢，主角都在塔文特皇国首都逛街了，（尤其是精灵主角）都喊得出for minrathous了，都能莫名其妙地钦定大执政官了，游戏给出的有关皇国安教会、皇国体制运作细节、皇国地理文化概况、皇国世情面貌之类的信息却依然无限接近于零；塔文特皇国安教会的体系是什么样的，有没有特色职位？皇国法环和皇国安教会之间的关系是怎样的，Laetan法师在理想情况下会如何升迁？法师的人口比例是多少，有没有成建制的法师作战部队？哈哈，竟然什么都没有！
Veilguard在对应领域的写作质量简直烂到了一个 我 上 我 也 行 的地步。因此，我将毫无愧怍地直接编新Lore，而对于Veilguard吃的那些书和用核弹暴力“填平”的那些坑，我也将毫无愧怍地直接扔了重写。Series

And then there's him. That tall bald elf who can make a lesson on magical theory more captivating than (most) cute cat videos. Will he just leave again in the end? She can't help hoping there's some way to get him to change his plans....

But Esha isn't content to rely on others, and seeks out the help of Solas, one of the most talented mages she knows. He's a graceful and patient apostate who can traverse the Fade with ease. As the closest thing to her clan's historian, and with a curiosity of the Fade, she finds a friend in Solas. Perhaps even more.

Chapter 11 Coming July 31st!
Lucanis and Rook are at an impasse that seems too difficult to confront. Having developed a mutual attraction only for Rook to condemn Treviso to the blighted dragon, tension was extremely high. While both struggle with their feelings of spite, regret, and guilt, the horrors of the Cauldron require the team’s immediate attention. Things are further complicated when Rook recruits a childhood friend to assist, and like all good stories, it will lead them all on a course no one could’ve dreamed of.
Do things seem asynchronous? Lucanis can be romanced even if you save Minrathous? I, like many Dragon Age fans, found Dragon Age: The Veilguard to be mediocre. This sentiment is especially evident in the characters. Their motivations, personality, dialogue, and development left much to be desired. So, I’m giving it a shot at re-writing the stories events with a few twists along the way. Hope you enjoy it, would love feedback!
