“Of course buddy, you know you can text me or call me any time” Buck responded quizzically, leaning over Chris’s legs to grab the remote and pause the TV. Chris was starting to grow out of cuddling on the sofa, but he still liked the physical contact, so Buck was sat in the middle of the sofa while Chris laid with his legs in Bucks lap.
“No I know that but… no it’s stupid.” Chris mumbled in response.
“Hey don’t say that, what's up?” Buck prompted “You know you can talk to me about anything.”

A laugh emerged from Kabru’s throat. There was a crinkle in the sides of his eyes that he rubbed with his knuckle, his gaze falling to the grass as a more genuine grin emerged. “You know, no one really talks about that anymore."
