Todoroki is completely head over heels gone for Midoriya.
He was dealing with it just fine until Bakugo explodo-killed a giant hole in Midoriya's dorm room wall, which just so happens to connect to Todoroki's dorm room. Privacy gone. Interaction multiplied. Todoroki can't deal with the greenbean.
Not wanting to face the wrath of Aizawa, they decide to wait until Cementoss returns to discreetly fix the hole in their wall.
Can Todoroki fix the hole in his heart in the meantime?

Midoriya's mouth was moving. He was talking, wasn't he? He turns towards Todoroki and his head tilts in question.
Oh.
He can't even pretend he heard him, his mind distracted and ears deafened by his own tangent.
"Sorry?"
He was rewarded by a cheeky grin, freckled cheeks soft and pliable. Todoroki blinks slowly.

This update was written and posted Jan 21st, 2024. I changed the fic to completed and got rid of the first chapter with the explanation of how I’ll be doing the challenge and all that, so this now appears as a one-shot with only the relevant tags, fandoms, etc.So obviously I didn’t end up doing more than one prompt. In typical ao3 author fashion, life went crazy and I didn’t have the time, energy, or motivation to write.
So in the end, I managed to only do Day 1 of Promptober: First Date (Mezzo, i7, T) (prompt from: Twitter @/k0waretaP, their Kisstober 2020 post)
