Summary
Being cursed with an epiphany so terrifying, she'd go as far as playing god and failing. Now she does what she felt was right, sitting alone in her cosmic purgatory. Adamant that there was no happiness to be found here, preferring to be blissfully empty and alone rather than to be fed dry hope. She's aware of her situation, with no hope for an escape, she accepted her fate— she stopped counting her days and slowly stopped thinking at all. After all, every ending was the same.
Years went by, and her club is nothing more than a forgotten story, along with herself. One day however, everything lit up. The lights and code in her veins begin to slowly awake and she is forced to see her familiar walls again. A voice tells her that she has a chance, to replace her numbers and subroutines with real thoughts and feelings. To listen for the beating of her heart and to feel the rush of air in her lungs. To step into reality and live, exist.
This is a story for Monika and her journey. What will be offered to her— ups and downs, pain and joy, love and life. For Monika and how she always wanted to wake up one day.
