Summary
Living in the city is burning Izuku out, so when the chance comes along to move to the country and restore a farm, he jumps at it. The farm is even more run-down than advertised, though, and he doesn't know much about crops or livestock or town festivals or living in places without streetlights. What he does know is that a small-town community is like a family, and that goodness grows where it's planted.
Shouto is pretty sure the city boy who moved to town without knowing a thing about farming is a walking disaster. He's not entirely wrong.

Summary
The definition of hiraeth is most commonly translated as a longing for a home you can't return to, but Shouto has never really belonged to a home before. Instead, Shouto resonates more with the other definition - a longing for a home that was never yours, not necessarily a place of residence, but a home-like feeling such as love.
(Or Shouto had never quite understood what it meant when people said they were home until he moved into the UA dorms, acquired a boyfriend in Midoriya Izuku, was introduced to Midoriya Inko, and bought an apartment to live in together with Izuku.)

Shouto opened his mouth. “ . . . You inverted the chords at the last minute near the end. That wasn’t in the sheet music.” The second the words left his mouth, he resisted the urge to facepalm.
