Summary
“I would love to go on a date with you, Izuku,” Shoto states clearly, ignoring the heads that turn towards him. As the current Number 2 hero, he has no desire to surpass Lemillion, so the date being something good for press has no meaning to him. He’s just taking the offer of a dream come true for him.
“See! See I told you!!” Kaminari yells from the booth Jiro coaxed him to, who is now shushing him.
“Now, is it really ethical to try and fool the public just for good press?” Iida chimes in. His eyes meet Shoto’s with a knowing stare - Shoto has called the Turbo Hero on more than one occasion when trying to sort out his feelings for Izuku. “Perhaps you two should think this over more, maybe when you haven’t been drinking?” Iida turns to Deku, who shakes his head.
“N-No, if Todoroki says he wants to… I don’t see why not.” Emerald eyes finally meet his own, and Shoto is too distracted to stop the blush on his ears.

Summary
It smelled like a storm was brewing. Shouto was trying so hard to focus on his work, but the essay in front of him was completely uninteresting, and the ozone drifting into his dorm room on the humid breeze was distracting.
Shouto had fallen a little bit in love with storms. He enjoyed them before, when they reminded him of the power going out, and his mother and siblings all gathering in one room around an assortment of flashlights and candles to watch the rain pummel the greenery of the garden. They would wait for lightning and then count the seconds between the flash and the roll of thunder, and try to guess how many kilometers away the lightning was.
More recently, though, he had found a very different reason for the anticipation thrumming through his veins at the first hint of dark clouds, the first fat droplets of rain.
The reason pulled himself up and over the ledge of Shouto’s balcony, his clothes soaked through already and green lightning crackling around his body. He was always a vision.
(Or: Shouto met a vigilante once upon a time. This is what comes after. "Uiscefhuaraithe", the feel of coldness only water brings.)

When Shouto finally rolls his bag over toward the exit, he pauses for a split second just to appreciate the sight he’s greeted with. Katsuki—with his baseball cap and soft clothes, only his sleepy half-lidded eyes visible above the face mask that Shouto knows is hiding a small grin. Shouto starts walking a little faster.
After a mission abroad, Shouto gets a warm welcome back home.

He times his breathing with Midoriya’s—inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale—letting the rhythm soothe his nerves and calm the beating of his heart. Restoration Patrol 7b, is a 2 week long expedition into the fallen war-grounds of the most recent war that struck Japan to it's very core. Barren cities littered with trauma, ghosts, and a recent bloodshed that would shake history forever.
This mission is carried on by none other than pro heroes Shouto and Ground Zero.
Nobody really knows what happens after a war like this, not even the people on the front lines. Left with nothing but scarring deep in they're minds, they must carry on. What does it mean to be a hero? What does it mean to be alive? What does it mean to die? Is the war ever really over?
