Summary
‘It was time to end things.’ Casey thought to herself. And end things she did because it had been a year and a half since she’d seen Derek.
She was now a junior at Queens University and she finally acknowledged that she was a bad bitch, indeed. She didn’t need someone like Derek to bring her down. Yet, there he was, slouching at the bar as he watched her dance provocatively with another man, a man who wasn’t Derek.
Chapter 1 is told in Derek’s perspective and is quite depressing. Chapter 2 however, is much less angsty, and is in fact fairly light and it will set the precedence for future chapters.
