Dorian’s chest feels light. “If I were an elf, what would I give him back?”
Dalish shrugs. “Probably something that invokes Dirthamen? That’s the vallaslin he wears.”
“Dirthamen,” Dorian says thoughtfully, “Yes. Thank you, Dalish. You’ve given me a great deal to consider.”

Note: I am a trans person writing a trans Inquisitor as a way to discuss dysphoria, transphobia, and comfort myself by dismantling a lot of “normal transphobia” that we see in our society through a fantasy setting.
