“They were amazing,” Cosmos said, his visor bright, hands sweeping in a colorful arc against the black moon dust and dark sky. “Huge, like titans, but mechorganic. They migrated between nebulae in giant herds, always calling to each other with this signal like a harmonizing pulsar. You could pick it up halfway across the galaxy once you tuned your sensors right. Do you know what I’m talking about?”
“Yes,” Soundwave said reluctantly. He remembered the signal, most of all; he remembered untangling it from deep-space communications back when everything was simple, the eerie warble in the background noise singing through his aching processor.
He also remembered why it stopped.

If you ever glanced at him in the roar of a party and found him in a corner, filled with a jealous sort of longing.

But it won't be long before Megatron and Soundwave get suspicious about how much "trine time" Starscream's been taking lately and try to discover the cause. And when one of those sparklings develops Skywarp's outlier abilities, it'll only be a matter of time before they're all discovered.

Summary
A truce had been called, a planet was divided, and the Autobots and Decepticons went their separate ways, with barely a whisper from either side for thousands of cycles. But brewing beneath the surface was a world that never forgot the many wrongs of the past, as Optimus and Megatron are pulled back into a conflict they both long wished to forget about. With Optimus finding a murdered Autobot covered in Decepticon insignias and Megatron uncovering the plan to awaken an ancient Titan, the very fate of Cybertron might hang in the balance.

Anode had been searching for the legendary Forge of Solus for ages, collecting bits of maps and deciphering old songs for clues. All of her research pays off as she and Lug find themselves tracing the steps of Cybertronian history. Although finding the Forge during their beach vacation seems highly improbable, everything must be somewhere. Right??

One final strum echoes throughout Maccadam’s, and then the sound of applause drowns out the final words. Drift finds himself wishing he was closer so he could have heard what it was. “Wow,” he mumbles under his breath. He looks away from the stage and down at his pen, tapping it in the middle of the page. “What a voice,” he says to himself.
“Every week you folks spoil me with your praise, so I thought that tonight I would spoil you all.” Rodimus’ voice stills the growing thoughts in Drift’s mind and he looks back up. “I hope you’ll continue to support me.” He gives a bow before leaving the stage.
“Inspiration?” Soundwave inquires next to him.
Drift nods.

Along the way, he finds friendship, love, and maybe, the reason he survived this long.
