Summary
A LONG TIME AGO, IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY.
NARIAN has never seen the sky, but she does not have time to care. She is busy scraping up credits as a underworld mechanic, caring for her dying mother, helping to raise her three-year-old WOOKIEE sister KYYRRRI, and worrying about the CORUSCANT underworld recognizing her as CHISS. It's all wartime politics and unrealistic REPUBLIC SENATE or JEDI ideals on the upper levels.
MEANWHILE, she is not having the best day of her life when she catches the first CHISS she has ever met - other than her mother - stealing some of her tools...

Her sudden appearance made a young man jump away from a workbench. He looked a little older than her and had pale blue skin and red eyes. “Who are you?” Narian demanded. Her eyes lit on his hands, which held several of the hanger’s more expensive tools. She whipped out her blaster. He froze at the familiar sound as it hastily warmed up. “I asked you a question,” she said, venting the blaster and taking aim.“Wait! Jhess’iri’tarthi.” The young man held his hands up.
“It talks. And with a chiss accent, claiming a chiss name.”
