Summary
Daegal reached up and grabbed the handle as he neared the last door along the corridor. His expectations were already faltering as the door was usually left a crack open. The rush of the breeze from open windows usually coursing through the small gap. But he ignored it as he focused on not dropping the platter and pushing the door open.
Though his faltering was correct and he should have known something was wrong the minute he approached the door.
