Summary
once again I’m titling the work after another Indigo de Souza song because I feel like it fits really well? One of my fav lyrics from that song as well is “A little whiskey and some reckless boys” which I almost named it but it just didn’t quite feel right.
***
Andrew’s wary to move on after such a disasterous senior year of high school, but somehow, he has some hope left. Somewhere deep down, anyway, where he can barely see it in the dark, but it is there.
Andrew’s not-like-other-girls complex is burning strong this year, but he’ll figure out eventually that he is in fact, like the other girls, and that’s not a bad thing. It’s just a thing. Maybe even a good thing. Maybe he’ll meet some people, maybe he’ll have some flings. Maybe he’ll let go of his self doubt for a moment and try to reconcile past relationships. Who knows?

Summary
„Darling?“ Andrew calls, still out of sight, and that gets Neil’s attention. Except for some very rare, very soft moments Andrew only uses pet names to be sarcastic.
„Yes love?“ Neil retaliates in the same, slightly mocking tone. Andrew comes into sight, with an unusual mischievous glint in his eyes. „How much do you think you can horrify a whole bunch of conservative homophobes?“
or: What is a professional actor as a fiancé good for, if you can't terrorize your distant (and close) relatives with him?

Summary
Andrew has barely started reading the menu when someone else emerges from the kitchen—a boy around his own age, he guesses, with pretty, delicate features and tanned skin flecked here and there with the paler lines and splotches of fading scars. He’s got dark half-moons under his eyes, a brilliant scowl on his face, and he’s wearing an apron with a picture of a similarly pissed off-looking cat adorning the front pocket.
He pokes Nicky in the shoulder with the floury rolling pin he’s brandishing like a baseball bat. “Oi,” he grunts. “What’s with the ruckus?”
(or, Andrew and Neil meet in a cat café.)

Summary
Andrew didn’t believe in soulmates, and he sure as hell didn’t believe that there was one out there for him. He may have been a bit hasty in jumping to that conclusion.

Summary
Wymack raised an eyebrow, hand still raised in preparation to knock again. “Damn kid, you look like shit.”
Neil gave him a thin smile. “Gee, thanks. Was that all you came here for?”
Wymack rolled his eyes and then shoved his hand in his pocket. “Shut the fuck up. Did you know you’re failing two classes?”
