Summary

He shouldn't have come here, this place is forbidden. The councilmen had said so, warned all of them, about the terrors that lurk in these woods-but he wouldn't listen, couldn't when that creature called out to him so enticingly. That mysterious voice that would speak so smoothly, so lovingly to him.
He regrets it now, always does.
A swift movement to his right has him stumbling back a step. The monster's movement swift and light in the distance, dashing behind one of the towering trees. Hiding itself from view, the creature taunts him with his identity, but he himself knows what that creature is, has had this dream many times before. No matter that the knowledge of the beast dissipates like a fog in the presence of his waking mind. In dreams he knows, in dreams he remembers.

When he was younger he had trouble interacting with normal humans- he saw too much, knew too much- and that only worsened when people learned that he was the son of a licensed necromancer.
At least now people also talked about the grey side of necromancy- thanks to a lot of PR over the years. It made sense that the FBI had one on staff, giving a voice to the dead.
That didn’t change the way people looked at the Graham family. At Will. He couldn’t blame them. There were rumors that the magic stained the practitioner’s soul, and he came from a long, proud line of sorcerers.
He believed that the magic could grow darker over the generations.
He certainly felt cursed.
It’s been nearly twenty years since he last saw Hannibal. He had been hoping to never open that door again but with bodies piling up the FBI needs all the help they can get- and they’re not giving him an option.

Will's empathy effected him in ways no one could know or so he thought. One of his art galleries attracts an odd crowd and with it, many people seemingly vieing for Will's attention. Though one has seemed to stake a claim over Will.
