Summary
Due to her powers, Mia becomes Dr. Brenner's lab rat, but it's not all bad. She ends up developing feelings for Dr. Brenner, even though she's still mourning Vecna's death. She's desperate for Dr. Brenner's attention, and is trying to educate and culture herself to become more appealing in his eyes, which ends up working.
Mia finds a way to get Vecna back, but soon realizes she had already moved on despite her feelings at the time, and misses her life at the lab. Mia and Vecna end up at the lab together, and for a while she's trying to maintain her relationship with Vecna while having an affair with Dr. Brenner and developing more feelings for him. Those feelings get pushed aside when Mia learns what Dr. Brenner has been doing behind her back. She unleashes her fury and starts a new life with Rosanne, thinking she has killed Dr. Brenner.
After a while, she learned that was not the case. They start their life together again, but under different circumstances. This time Dr. Brenner is reciprocating her feelings and treating her as an equal research partner. At least, that's what it seems like. Turns out, he's dying. And while Vecna is no longer in is physical body, he's still around, planning on revenge.

Their first encounter spirals into an unhealthy relationship, and blinded by the hot sex and other benefits such as developing powers on her own, Mia overlooks a lot of uncomfortable issues between her and Vecna. Like the fact that he's literally trying to destroy the world.Chapters 1-20 are mostly the “honeymoon” phase with Vecna, but the issues of the relationship keep emerging.
Mostly totally shameless, cheesy smut, but some plot.
After that, there's still some smut in every chapter, but it's focusing on the plot. -
