Summary
Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring used to be best friends. Attached at the hip. Secretly obsessed with one another.
Nine years ago, thanks to their mutual stubbornness, they lost contact after drunkenly arguing at a uni party.
When Nick moves to Brighton, newly single and looking for a fresh start, he has no idea that adopting an overweight cat from a local shelter is going to land him in Charlie's office at the local vet clinic, and result in a wildly entertaining night out at pub karaoke. All hail the fat tabby cats of the world!

Summary
Charlie has graduated from the Royal Veterinary College. Now that he’s newly graduated, he’s hoping to gain further experience at a clinic in London. A nice, clean, modern clinic where he would see a variety of small, well behaved pets.
Instead, he finds out he is going to the Yorkshire Dales to assist a regional vet during the lambing season.
Charlie is less than thrilled and is determined to hate it. Wouldn't you know it though-there is a ginger farmer on the local Nelson farm who finds the stubborn, grumpy vet quite intriguing.
