Reincarnation, reluctant friendship (maybe romance, very salacious), and one exhausted wizard trying to stop destiny from falling apart—again.
Includes some of Merlin's life before Arthur's return because history and travelling to other countries in history is really fun to write.

“You-” Ygraine said, stepping up to point a finger in Uther’s face. “You are a liar and a murderer. The fact you think someone as sweet and caring as Vivienne is destined to marry you is a tragedy in itself, but if you expect me to hand over my brother’s rightful claim to Camelot’s throne-”
“My claim to Camelot’s throne,” Uther threw back, face growing more red as Arthur looked between his parents in utter bewilderment. Merlin didn’t blame him. He had envisioned Uther and Ygraine’s love story to be more… well, less based in war and battles.
Ygraine’s eyes narrowed as she grabbed a goblet of wine and threw it in Uther’s face. A few of the guards shifted, but Uther only raised a hand to pause them, spitting out the wine with furious eyes.
“You,” Ygraine said coldly. “Are unworthy to sit upon a stool, let alone a throne.”
From a few feet away, Balinor scoffed as he sipped from his own goblet. “I kind of like having her as a hostage, Uther. She livens up the place.”

As an act of goodwill following a successful peace treaty with Camelot, the leaders of the Dragonrider Clan offer High Dragonlord Balinor’s firstborn child to be the future betrothed of Uther Pendragon’s young son, the two-year-old Prince Arthur. Half a year later, when Lady Hunith gives birth to a baby boy, little Merlin is welcomed with open arms by both peoples.
Now eleven and nine years old respectively, Arthur and Merlin are formally introduced for the first time, and it goes about as well as you’d expect (which is to say, not at all). But no worries, they still have a decade to grow to like each other enough for the engagement to proceed without any problems. That’s a lot of time to fall in love... so it’s practically a done deal. Right?

Morgana le Fay is a promising university student with a secret. Since the unexpected passing of her beloved father, Gorlois, during Year 12 of secondary school, she has struggled on her own with Anorexia, or as ED afflicted girls euphemistically call her, Ana. One summer night, after having restricted her calorie intake for weeks on end, Morgana is found collapsed in the university library and rushed to the hospital, where she is admitted at last into treatment for her ED. Two months later she is discharged, physically appearing healthier, although her mental state is another matter altogether.
It is here that our story picks up, when her sister Morgause picks her up from the hospital to inform her that while she was inpatient, her mother has remarried a man named Uther Pendragon and that she has relocated her family to live with him, selling their old childhood home. Morgana is distraught to learn this and fed up besides, until she meets Uther's son, her new stepbrother, Arthur, who may yet be a promising friend and ally as she navigates the real world after the hospital and comes to terms for the reason behind her ED.
