Summary
Fatherhood was never on the General’s radar and don’t get him wrong, it still isn’t. The cries of the young baby did nothing more than grind his gears but the expectations of military life was more than enough to agree to raise the child after finding him in the clutches of the enemies dungeons. Who knows, maybe this wasn’t a bad idea after all?

Summary
Wearied medic Sakura is just trying to survive the civil war. Her task seems impossible to accomplish when her home village is razed by the enemy and she is taken as their captive to serve as a dutiful healer. At least she still has her head.
All she has to do now is keep it down and stay inconspicuous. But the dark, horrible eye of the violent commander is threatening her tenuous hold on life — and sanity.
