The only problem is that his work is only willing to wait for so long. He needs to go back. He works weird hours.

Prowl hated that running was the only option he had. He needed to get away, but with his certifications to become an enforcers around the corner, he thought he could hold on. When push comes to shove, he knows he needs to start over. He has no credentials, his Academy credits won't transfer, and his skillset is incredibly limited.

Since Luna-1, no one knows what to do about Pharma. The rogue doctor awaits his pending fate in a makeshift cell on the Lost Light, with his wings bound and alt-mode restricted. After the apocalyptic events of Dark Cybertron, Pharma doesn’t expect he’ll survive to trial. Even Megatron’s fate has been put on hold until Prime and the Autobots salvage some kind of legal system. In the interim, the Lost Light remains grounded. Injured and infirm bots overrun the med bay team. Since Rodimus won’t depart Cybertron until their ship, crew, and allies are up and running, Ratchet suggests they put their captive surgeon to work. First Aid is less than pleased.
For his part, Pharma never thought he’d join a quest. He knows he won’t last long once his past–and the D.J.D.–catches up with him. It’s only a matter of time.

Enter the Zodiac Organization, quite possibly the greatest adversaries yet that the Lost Light has encountered. Not because they're pirates, but their leader may be someone that Rodimus knew once, a long time ago--and loved very much.

Ah yes, the elusive knights of Cybertron… long known for how little information there is about them and their supposed disappearance. Apart from the few tales of their rule during the planet’s golden age, there really isn’t anything worthwhile. Yes, they do say that legends come from something explainable and real, and yes, they technically did find remnants of this reality. However, their situation seemed to get dimmer with every solar cycle.
Or one of the few things Rodimus maybe did somewhat right along the way.

Every chapter will contain a short summary, themes/kinks, TW, or general warnings (if needed). Gasket’s flophouse is right on the edge of where it gets really filthy, but the outer doors lock and the floors only flood a few centimeters when storms blow in off the Acid Wastes. The atmospheric handler's always broken, so it's ten degrees above comfortable most of the wet season, but there are worse things than paying a few extra creds for a double ration of coolant.
Gasket’s only rules are no trashing the place and no one brings customers back.
Things are going okay for Drift. Then Whirl shows up, shiny and polished and looking like a million creds amid all the detritus of Dead End, and reminds Drift exactly how substandard he really is.

The senators of Cybertron didn't foresee loosing control of their preferred weapon, wielding his new power to stop the terrorist cells. Meanwhile, a young mech fights for survival on the streets of Rodion. And an underground fighter weaves dreams of justice into nightmares of war.
