Summary
This is part of an ongoing series: CHARON'S OBOL; this is chapter one of FRAGMENTS OF KIRKWALL, set during the events of DA:II.
The aim of this series is to write a better character arc for one Cullen Rutherford, who, despite a confusing amount of fandom love, has an arc across three games that isn't wholly coherent or consistent. Parts of this series may appear with other POV characters, and usually will be written within the context of a specific quest or part of the game in question's arc.
Finally, this series is written with a female circle mage Grey Warden, Iðunn Amell. An additional OC, Ser Griseldis of Starkhaven and Kirkwall, also plays a large role in the entries to this series.

Summary
Cullen goes down to Darktown to search out this apostate healer he has heard rumors about. First, no one can find the entrance unless they are in need. Second, this healer is far more familiar than he ever expected. He has choices to make now.
And Wilmod showed back up and left again. Knight Captain Cullen can't let this go. When the recruit leads him to the Wounded Coast he realizes that something else is up. Something more than just wayward recruits screwing around when they should be training.

Summary
“Nothing up this sleeve, nothing up this one.” Keeping her hands in the air as the captain rose, she said, “You folks gonna arrest me?”
Leanne is a mage, and a Ferelden refugee. Struggling to find her place in her new home, she takes a job in a clinic working for the notorious upstart mage Anders and tries to hold it all together and hold the people she loves close while everything else is falling apart.
A modern retelling of select parts of Dragon Age: II, focusing on the Mage Rebellion and asking: What if Anders had had help?
