Summary
She should have considered many things, yet every thought kept circling back to her two incorrigible coworkers and boss.
None of them deserved a second glance. They were full of themselves, Jade and Floyd, in particular, loving to tease and pick on the entire staff with no consideration of how their behavior affected others. How the other cooks shied away when Floyd lit a raging fire around his pans. How the servers shrunk beneath Jade’s practiced smile the moment anything went the least bit wrong.
And that was to say nothing of how customers and staff alike reacted when Azul did his rounds on the rare occasions he left his office.
So yes, Yuuna knew her thoughts shouldn’t wander to them, not in the ways they kept doing. But still, they did.
It was a mystery to her, she’d never quite felt this way, yet she’d read enough books to recognize the signs and symptoms of an affliction she didn’t want.
