Summary
His body recognized the soft, warm welcome of Zuko’s room. Of his bed as they drank too much for their own good and bickered on about quite simply anything.
Sometimes it felt like he’d never leave. Like he’d never want to leave.
Sometimes it felt like Suki, like how he used to feel about Suki.Except Zuko isn’t Suki, and somehow it’s not quite the same. It’s an adjacent feeling he can’t and doesn’t quite want to name.

Or the lead up to Suki breaking up with Sokka and Sokka growing close to Zuko in between. Sokka being very confused and doing some ambiguously moral things in his guilt-ridden confusion.
