Summary
He's a fraud. Does he even deserve to be called a king? Thee king of the eliatropes? He digs his nails in deeper again. And again. He rakes his nails down his arms. One for everyone he's let down- or disappointed. The only thing he can think about is Oropo- the people who died because of him, who is well, Yugo.

Yugo groaned in frustration, rolling his eyes and staying where he was. It's not like he could really get up anyway. If he could, then maybe he really would do what they were whispering, maybe he would listen to that temptation. Return to his Doufu's and let himself be in the care of his mother, his brother, and his family. The temptation was honestly growing more appealing, he could escape the ache of his bones if he did this. If he got up and jumped, would he do it? The thought was more terrifying than he would like to admit. Would he really jump? He can't confidently say that he wouldn't jump, but he can't say that he would jump either.

He can feel the rawness of his throat, the grind of every sound his vocal cords tried to make. The utter uncomfortableness of it all. He doesn't want to live, he realizes with a start. He wants nothing more than to mix with the ground of the earth. Or to return to his Dofus, but even then it would be dissatisfying, he didn't want the idea of coming back. He wanted mortality, he wanted freedom, he wanted death. Adamai suddenly grabs at his face, pulling it upward and looking him in the eye, Yugo's blue meets Adamai's darker eyes, and Yugo can't help but flinch again. Adamai relaxes his grip, but he's the only thing really holding Yugo up. Yugos body feels like it's about to crumble, and his brother is the only thing that holds him together.
