Zane took the impact that was meant for his master, and, like everything else, he was reduced to a white point before vanishing entirely. For one horrifying moment, the silence filled the space, and it was absolutely deafening. It was only when Aspheera dropped her staff and finally lost consciousness that the spell was broken.
“Oh no! Zane!” Nya screamed, immediately removing her hood. “Zane!” Cole yelled, running over to where he last was. “NO!” Pixel cried, doing the same, closely followed by Mr. E. She sank to her knees, eyes already watering up as she frantically ran her hands over the bricks. Mr. E shook as he stared at the ash covering the ground; it was perhaps the closest thing he had ever come to tears.
“Zane…” Pixel whispered, for both of them. Everyone silently agreed on a moment of silence, holding each other as they cried quietly. “Zane…”

Zane turned, giving his bed a glance, but instead he bit back a shriek, jolting when he saw two electric blue eyes narrowed at him through the darkness.
His own electric blue eyes.
Well, electric was a stretch. They flickered, and the lights within them were surely dim and dying. But he wasn’t exactly focused on the details, and instead he was staring, shocked, at a terrible, horrible, awful reflection of himself. Though the figure wasn’t wearing his signature heavy armor, his long hair and sharp antlers gave Zane all the information he needed.
The Ice Emperor.
The Ice Emperor was here, in Zane’s room, standing just where he had been sitting in front of his door. Blocking his only exit. Not making a sound, not moving.

They must face the dangers of this alien world alongside some new and surprising allies another group foreign heroes to the realm who have found themselves mixed up in this cults dark plots in a landscape devastated by a twisted volcano, nightmarish beings created by the Oni and stemming from the void, a deadly mind altering curse and a daemon that takes the form of a shadowy Stag if they are to have any hope of saving their realm and themselves before it is too late but all is not what it seems..."
