Summary
He swayed backwards. Not back down to whatever soft surface he had been lying on, but into a strong embrace, too familiar for his liking.
“Woah there, rockstar,” the velvet-voiced goddess teased, an almost chiding tone to her voice. “Usually I take my dessert after the sun sets. But for you, perhaps I could make an exception.”
He flinched in her hold, as if burned. No- it couldn’t be.
Her touch quickly retreated from him as he squirmed, and with it, the cold burn of her essence. However, without her support, the horrified sun god fell further into her.
Gods, Hermes would have a field day with this one.

By no means were she and Apollo close allies; they were civil at best and warring at their worst. Much blood has been spilled and many bodies buried from the bad times between the two. Not even the rivalry between Ares and Athena could claim as much.
OR, Zeus and Themis have another daughter— Astrastheia, the goddess of the stars and destiny. After Apollo ascends back to godhood a little bit too human, Zeus employs Astrastheia to earn his trust.
This works a little too well.

day 2: growing pains.
Saw this and all I could think of was a) Taking Turns by the crane wives and b) REVOLUTION AU OH YEAHH BABEYYYYYSoooooo here we have Apollo suffering, as we all love, and his family slowly seeing the Real Him (tm)- and maaaaaybe preparing for a revolution.
Maybe.
(Okay yeah. Some of them are definately preparing for a revolution the more they learn about Apollo.)
