Even though Derek’s around, it’s not enough to calm her so Amelia calls Jake and Addison in LA. Also, in this AU, Mark’s funeral doesn’t happen until after Jake and Addison get engaged. And yes, there will be a little flashback to Mark’s funeral since we never got to see it on Grey’s Anatomy. This fanfiction rewrites parts of the latter half of Grey’s Anatomy season 16 as well as Private Practice season six. There will also be special appearances from Derek’s other family members as well as characters from Private Practice.
