Fushiguro can't ignore the way Itadori pulls his legs to his chest like he's afraid of taking up space. Not when Itadori always seems unable to sit in chairs normally, sprawling himself across them like a starfish, or hanging upside-down off the back, or rolling across the floor when he's bored and gathering up every speck of dust on his hoodie; not with the way he fits to the contours of the room when he walks inside, his smile expanding like hot air and the couch never big enough for him, some body part dangling off the end no matter how he positions himself.
But then Itadori smiles, and Fushiguro wonders what he was worrying about.

Stede had been doing so well.
The feeling comes in waves. The small waves, he can handle those. The slight fuzzy feeling that washes over him is nice, relaxing even. He thinks that’s closer to what everyone else feels when this happens than how he feels when the big waves finally hit.
The big waves, the ones from the two times he’s managed to slip all the way, those left him floundering.
Stede learns to be more open about his regression, and that maybe the bad feelings that come with it are there for a reason.
