“Hey, kid, you coming to the barbecue at Athena’s on Saturday?” Bobby asks Buck. “You’re the only one we haven’t heard from yet.”
“I know, I’m sorry. I’ve been trying to find someone to hang out with Chris-” Buck never says babysit, and Bobby has often wondered why, “-but all our usual suspects are out.”
“Bring him along,” Bobby says, fighting down the knowing smile. “Everyone loves him, and he can hang out with Harry.”
“That sounds great, Cap. Thank you,” he says, sounding relieved.
“Well then it’s settled! I’ll text Athena our official headcount, she’ll be glad for some concrete numbers,” Bobby says, pulling out his phone.
