“Azriel, you know my history.” His eyebrow quirks slightly.
“Yes…”
“And you’ve been training me now for a long time.” He nods, encouraging her to continue.
“I trust you.” His eyebrows raise and he swallows.
“That’s good, Gwyn.” His voice is soft. His eyes jump between each of hers, and his shadows vibrate anxiously, not used to be being a step behind.
“I’ve decided that I’m ready to learn about the ways of intimacy. And I want you to be the one to teach me.”

Gwyn feels safe with Azriel in a way she hasn't experienced since that horrible night in Sangravah and she realizes that he may be the only male that she'll ever be comfortable being intimate with, so she decides to ask him to train her in a new arena... if you know what I mean.
